The Kids Summer/Fall 2008

This has been a great year.  We've been really busy, but we've had a lot of fun, too.  Doug is still in school, with a graduation date of June 2010.  He's also an elder in our church.  He loves serving the church in this capacity.  (And I think he's perfect for the job.)  Zach is in 4th grade and doing really well in his homeschool studies.  He's also part of a Latin class and will be joining a Science class in January.  This past fall he played little league football and his team made it to the MetroBowl.  Luke is really growing up.  He's talking up a storm and giving his brother a run for his money whenever they wrestle (which is quite often).  Katie is our little lady, prancing around in her pretty little dresses.  However, she loves nothing more than to get in the middle of it with the boys.  She can hold her own pretty well.  Joy is in the middle of it all, making sure that everything runs as it should.  Here are a couple of the highlights from this past Summer and Fall.

Fall Fun

Our family has been extremely busy over the past few weeks as school has surged back into session and church activities have returned for the school year. However, we have quite enjoyed getting to know many families in the church better and feel very much at home at New Life. Zachary has enjoyed football and his team is now in the playoffs. Luke started pre-pre school this year and has been doing a great job learning verses and catechism with Zach and also working on his ABCs and 123s. Katie is growing like a weed and really developing her personality. She loves to get right in there with her brothers and give them heck. We've been enjoying the fall weather by having a few fires in our back yard. It's been fun to watch the boys scorch their marshmallows. Overall, things are good right now. Wedding

Johnathan and Holly were married in a beautiful ceremony Saturday. Here's the new family.
